Yarra Falls Card

This greeting card showcases an intricate black and white illustration of 'Yarra Falls' known in modern times as 'Dight Falls' by Melbourne Journalists and Artists Ebenezer and David Syme, courtesy of the State Library Victoria. Dights Falls is a rapid and man made weir in the Yarra River in Melbourne. The first nations peoples of the Wurundjeri tribe of the Kulin nation lived and fished on the this river for thousands of years, the rock falls providing the tribes people a natural river crossing and place to trap migrating fish. 14 cm x 14 cm (Folded Dimensions)
